Turkesterone is an Ecdysteroid found in the plant Ajuga Turkestanica. Turkesterone enhances muscle growth and repair via the increase of muscle protein synthesis. Due to the effect on protein synthesis, a positive nitrogen balance is achieved, inducing an anti-catabolic effect on the muscles, preventing muscle breakdown. it is known to increase muscular Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) content which increases the longevity of exercise before phosphocreatine stores provide energy therefore increasing muscular endurance and energy during exercise. While the physical effects of turkesterone is it’s main selling point, it has many desirable mental effects too, including alleviating anxiety and mental burnout. This is due to the adaptogenic properties found in Turkesterone.
